UoouShop: How to Centralize Data From 6 Sources in 1 Day Without a Dedicated Data Team

UoouShop integrated 6 data sources in 1 day with Erathos and today runs its entire data operation with the founders themselves, with no dedicated team.

UooU Solutions, an e-commerce platform for B2B, B2C, and marketplace operations, needed to centralize data scattered across multiple systems to support strategic decisions and build a data-driven culture without anyone on the team dedicated exclusively to it. With Erathos, they integrated 6 different data sources in a single day and today run their entire data operation with just two people — the founders themselves, neither of them a data engineering specialist.

The challenge

UooU runs on dozens of different systems (WhatsApp customer service, ERP, CRM, support, finance) and, as with any growing operation, these tools didn't talk to each other. Without a central data warehouse, each team looked at its own isolated numbers, and strategic decisions depended on manually built spreadsheets.

The problem became clear in the company's own CRM journey: in less than a year, UooU switched sales systems three or four times before settling on PipeRun, always reacting to specific pain points (like being unable to pull a piece of information a consulting firm asked for), never in a planned way. Every switch ate up time that could have gone to other business priorities.

At the same time, the company was going through an investment round (Inova) aimed at accelerating its sales engine, which increased pressure for centralized visibility: NPS, churn, customer journey, investor metrics. And all of this without a dedicated data team: today, only two people, Felipe and Kauê, handle the company's data operation, neither of them from a data engineering background.

The solution

UoouShop found Erathos through Inova, via knowledge-sharing between companies in the accelerator program. The deciding factor was ease of implementation: the plug-and-play setup let them integrate multiple data sources into BigQuery quickly, without requiring deep data engineering knowledge from the internal team.

With Erathos centralizing collection, UoouShop started building on top of that foundation: using Lovable (vibe coding) to build an internal management intranet, and Claude Code as day-to-day support, without depending on a dedicated data engineer to keep the pipeline running.

This let the company unify support data (Freshdesk), internal systems (MySQL), sales (Bling), and soon the full sales journey (PipeRun), consolidating everything into a single structure, with their own modeling built on top of BigQuery.

Erathos is essential for anyone who wants a fast go-live centralizing data from multiple sources. We needed to build a Data Warehouse quickly, without the challenge of manually integrating several tools. We managed to integrate 6 different data sources in a single day, something that would have taken weeks without Erathos. The BigQuery integration worked well from day one.

The results

  • 6 different data sources integrated in 1 day, a process that, according to the technical team, would have taken weeks without Erathos.
  • Data operation sustained by just 2 people, even at a company with 34 employees, with no need to hire a dedicated data engineer, at an estimated cost of about 2% of what that hire would have cost (Glassdoor benchmark).
  • NPS dashboard rolled out to leadership, with a monthly collection routine that now consistently feeds retention decisions.
  • The start of a distributed data culture: the idea is for each team lead to become the owner of their own metrics, instead of depending on manually centralized reports.
We have several platforms to run the company (WhatsApp, support, finance) and there's no single magic system that solves everything. Centralizing with Erathos gave us a GPS to structure the company: today we can look at NPS and churn in a consolidated way and use that to make decisions. If I were to tell another founder one thing: centralize your data from day 1.

Return on investment (ROI)

Comparing the cost of hiring a dedicated data engineer against the investment in Erathos over the 10 months of use:

Cost avoided (hiring 1 dedicated professional, average salary of R$8,000 + mandatory labor charges): R$144,000

R$ 142,410 in net savings, 89.6x the amount invested in Erathos

What's next

UoouShop is just getting started with the strategic use of its data. Next steps include: rolling out access to the data intranet to more teams (starting with finance), fully integrating the PipeRun CRM to map the end-to-end customer journey (from lead to retention), and evaluating a move to Erathos's CDC (Change Data Capture), which should reduce the refresh interval for administrative data to just a few minutes.
