Why we exist

The most critical layer of the data stack is also the most fragile

When ingestion fails, dashboards break, metrics become unreliable, and trust erodes. And yet most tools force teams to choose between black-box SaaS, convenient but opaque, and flexible frameworks, powerful but expensive to maintain. Either way, engineers end up spending more time maintaining pipelines than building value with data.

That lost time does not stay contained. It compounds into slower delivery, burnout, reduced strategic impact and, eventually, a data team losing credibility inside its own company. Incidents take too long to diagnose, failures are discovered too late, and teams operate reactively instead of predictably.

Reliability without visibility is blind.

Flexibility without usability is chaos.

We believe ingestion should not work this way. Erathos was built to sit between those extremes, to make ingestion predictable, and to make that predictability visible.

Today that means more than 8 billion rows processed monthly and 10,000 jobs executed daily, at a success rate above 98%. Reliability is not an add-on: it is the foundation of the product.

Data infrastructure only grows more dynamic. Workflows trigger workflows, pipelines activate other pipelines, and systems operate with less manual intervention. As automation increases, failures become harder to trace and more costly to ignore, and reliability and transparency stop being differentiators and become prerequisites.

Every stable pipeline restores trust in data. Every predictable workflow gives engineers back their time. We are not building another ingestion tool: we are rebuilding the ingestion experience.

Our story

From consultancy to product

Erathos started as a consultancy in 2018. For years we helped companies face real data problems in production, and that is where we learned what actually slows a data-driven journey down: pipelines that are fragile and hard to maintain.

In 2024 we stopped being a consultancy and became a product.

We raised investment to accelerate this new phase: building the best data movement platform on the market. We are only getting started.
