Gainsight PX Connector: integrate with BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse and more without manual pipelines
The Erathos Gainsight PX connector syncs product analytics and adoption data to the data warehouse. Incremental pipeline with full observability.

Gainsight PX is a product management and user experience platform, designed to help companies understand how customers interact with their products. It offers product usage data collection, behavior analysis, feedback, user segmentation, and product analytics reporting, all to help teams optimize engagement and retention.
The problem is that this adoption and engagement data stays locked inside Gainsight, disconnected from the rest of the analytics stack. Cross-referencing product behavior with marketing, sales, and finance data requires pulling that information out, and keeping that pipeline running on its own becomes an engineering project nobody planned for.
Erathos is launching the managed connector for Gainsight PX. Fifteen available endpoints, zero pipeline code to write or maintain.
What you can do once Gainsight data lands in your warehouse
Complete view of the customer journey. By cross-referencing product engagement data with marketing, sales, and finance data in the same warehouse, you understand not just what the customer does inside the product, but how that connects to revenue, support tickets, and the sales cycle.
Adoption analysis by segment. With segments and engagement_events, you can identify which user groups adopt which feature, and cross-reference that with data from other sources to understand which account profile engages the most.
Qualitative feedback alongside quantitative data. survey_responses brings survey answers directly into your warehouse, letting you cross-reference customer perception (what they say) with actual usage behavior (what they do).
Risk and expansion models based on real usage. Combining feature_match_events, session_events, and page_view_events with contract and financial data, you can build churn risk or expansion opportunity signals based on actual product behavior, not just satisfaction surveys.
What's available in the connector
The Gainsight PX connector delivers fifteen endpoints ready to be materialized in your destination warehouse:
Endpoint | What it contains |
|---|---|
Registered accounts
Users
Product engagement events
Custom events defined by the company
Engagement views
Specific feature usage events
In-product form submissions
User identification events
Lead-related events
Page views
Segment match events
Session events
Product feature catalog
Configured segments
Survey responses
Destinations available today are BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure SQL Server, and Amazon S3. Azure Synapse and Snowflake are coming soon.
How to authenticate
The connector's authentication requires one field:
- Token: your Gainsight PX API Key
To find your token, go to the Apps page in Gainsight PX's navigation menu, click Configure next to API Access, and copy the API key shown. Paste it into the Token field in Erathos.
Why offload ingestion to Erathos
The core value isn't just speed. Building a script to extract data from Gainsight PX by hand is also fast today, any modern cloud gives you the pieces to put that together in an afternoon. What really changes is what happens after day one: keeping that pipeline running is the work nobody estimates. A schema changes, an endpoint starts returning errors without warning, a script that ran on its own stops on a Friday night and nobody notices until Monday.
With the connector configured, the platform takes on that maintenance for good, not just in the first week:
End-to-end visibility for every run. Extraction time per endpoint, record counts per window, which windows were processed, where retries happened.
Alerts configured out of the box. Failed runs, volume drops per endpoint, and delayed windows are detected and routed through the alerting integrations your team already uses.
Reprocessing as a supported operation. When you need to reprocess a window, that's a platform operation, not an improvised script run against the warehouse.
Custom connectors when the catalog doesn't cover your need. If a specific endpoint or source isn't available, Erathos also offers the option to build a custom connector, without depending on waiting for the source to make it onto the roadmap.
