The Challenge
The database used by Jovens Gênios, Neo4j, promised to serve both transactions and analytics. In practice, analysis performance was unsustainable, especially as the database grew. Queries with large volumes (such as 4 million responses) took up to 5 minutes to run, making a data-driven operation unfeasible.
In addition, the absence of an in-house data engineer meant that the entire analytics infrastructure was in the hands of a single person — who received dozens of manual spreadsheets from different areas of the company (CRM, finance, CS, etc.), making dashboard reliability and productivity unsustainable.
The Solution with Erathos
