New Feature: Block Window
Block Window pauses syncs during defined time windows — ideal for avoiding conflicts with maintenance windows or peak hours in Erathos.
We are excited to announce the new feature implemented on the Erathos platform, Block Window. It was developed to solve some pain points raised by users, with the main goal of enabling users to manually define the ideal pattern for their execution routine on the Erathos platform independently.
What is Block Window for?
When accessing the new feature, a calendar with the days of the week (Sunday to Saturday) is available, making it possible to block potential executions to protect databases and avoid inconvenience at critical times. This way, there is the possibility to select a start and end time for this lockout across all days of the week in a flexible way, ensuring that jobs are not executed within the defined window.
This feature includes the possibility of only blocking new executions from starting and also includes options to cancel all jobs that would be effectively running, as well as blocking manual executions during the defined period.
How to find Block Window on the Erathos platform?

Select a specific pipeline
Then, among the other settings, you will find the “Manage Block Window” option.
