RA Trustvox connector: sync reviews, ratings and questions into your data warehouse

Sync RA Trustvox product reviews, ratings, questions and seller data into your data warehouse with Erathos. BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL and more.

RA Trustvox

Erathos launches a managed connector for Trustvox, the social proof and review platform used by e-commerce operations to collect product opinions, store reviews and shopper questions. Nineteen endpoints available, ten destinations supported, zero pipeline code to write or maintain.

Trustvox exposes an authenticated REST API that, in theory, makes it possible to build your own extraction. In practice, that means writing and maintaining a custom ETL pipeline to handle authentication headers, API versioning, pagination and payload structures that vary between opinions, orders and product summaries, something most data teams only realize does not scale after the first integration is already in production. The Erathos connector solves this as a managed service, without requiring your team to write or maintain that code.

The problem with hand-built Trustvox pipelines

The Trustvox API authenticates every request with a bearer token plus a version header, and identifies the store through a URL, an admin email and a numeric store ID. The pattern is simple enough to convince an engineer to build an integration in an afternoon. The real cost shows up later, and it is predictable.

  • Review payloads are deeply nested. Opinions arrive with product, client, order, photos and survey objects embedded inside each record. Flattening that correctly into warehouse tables is a modeling job that every team redoes from scratch, usually differently each time.
  • Entities are related but not pre-joined. Products carry children for opinions, overviews, questions, rates and survey summaries; sellers carry details and reviews. Reproducing those relationships in a homegrown pipeline means writing parent-child orchestration by hand, and silently dropping children when the parent key changes.
  • Schema surprises at the edges. JSON fields like tags, items and links change shape as the platform evolves. A dbt model that ran clean starts failing in production, or worse: keeps running with a coalesce over a field that disappeared. The inconsistency reaches the dashboard before it reaches your monitoring.
  • Silent data loss instead of errors. A review collection is not a constant stream; it spikes around campaigns and holidays. A pagination bug or a rate limit does not throw an exception, it just stops bringing older records while the job keeps reporting success.
  • No observability. A 200 OK on the HTTP call does not mean the data arrived complete. Without per-endpoint record counts per run, comparison against the previous window and volume drop alerts, the pipeline that ran successfully may have loaded half the reviews.

The worst scenario is not the pipeline that breaks and sends an alert. It is the pipeline that runs successfully and delivers wrong data, with the conversion rate on the merchandising dashboard already computed over an incomplete base.

What you can do once Trustvox data reaches your warehouse

Before detailing the connector, it is worth documenting what you actually gain when opinions, orders, products and reviews leave the SaaS and land modeled next to the rest of your stack.

Review volume and rating trends per product

With product_opinions and product_rate in the warehouse, you track average rating and review count per product over time, spot products whose rating is degrading after a batch change or a supplier switch, and measure how quickly new SKUs accumulate social proof. Native dashboards show current aggregates; trend analysis per SKU requires the raw records in your warehouse.

Correlating reviews with sales and revenue

Opinions come with the order attached, and orders come with items, delivery dates and state. Joining orders and product opinions with your e-commerce sales base lets you quantify whether highly rated products convert better, how rating changes precede sales changes, and what share of revenue comes from products that recommend more. Only possible with Trustvox and your commerce data in the same warehouse, united by a business key.

Marketplace seller quality management

With sellers, seller_detail and seller_reviews, you build a quality scorecard per seller: average rate, NPS, rating histogram, review volume and trend. Cross-referenced with operations data, this supports onboarding and offboarding decisions, and turns seller reputation into a managed metric instead of a page someone checks occasionally inside the platform.

Voice of customer across channels

Store reviews, product opinions, questions and survey answers capture different moments of the same customer relationship. In the warehouse, you can unify them by client and analyze themes, complaint recurrence and satisfaction by category, then join with support tickets and CRM records to see whether a poor review predicted a churn event.

Content and Q&A operations

Questions, product_question_suggestions and product_opinions_overview show which products concentrate unanswered questions and which doubts repeat. That feeds the product content team with a prioritized backlog derived from actual shopper behavior, measurable week over week, instead of anecdotal reports.

What's available in the connector

The Trustvox connector delivers nineteen endpoints ready to be materialized in your destination warehouse:

Endpoint

What it contains

opinions

Store-level opinions with rating, text, recommends flag, upvotes and downvotes counts, plus product, client, order, photos and survey objects

orders

Orders identified in Trustvox, with tags, client, delivery date, state, review URLs, store review and items

products

Product catalog with name, EAN, average rate, total recommends and total opinions

product_by_code

Product details looked up by code, with tags, product ID, store ID and SKUs

product_opinions

Product-level opinions with title, rating, recommends flag, review photos, comments, links, user, sale and sale item objects

product_opinions_overview

Aggregated review overview per product: rating distribution, top rated and top negative opinions, opinions and questions counts, store rate and features

product_questions

Shopper questions about products, with question text, origin, answer and answer date

product_question_suggestions

Suggested answers for product questions, with answer text, origin and answer date

product_rate

Average rating and review count per product code, with product name

product_recommendation_summary

Recommendation summary per product, with percentage and average answer count

product_survey_answers_summary

Survey answer summaries per product, with average, description, options and total answer count

product_survey_question_summaries

Survey question definitions per product, with description, kind and options

questions

Store questions with text, visibility, state, consumer, product and answer; incremental sync using updated_at as cursor

sellers

Marketplace sellers with name, store ID, external ID and photo URL

seller_detail

Per-seller detail with average rate, total opinions, NPS, rating histogram and summaries

seller_reviews

Individual reviews per seller, with rating, text, client ID, sale ID and seller object

store_by_url

Store identification by URL, with name, CNPJ and store token

store_reviews

Store-level reviews with text, rating and client

tags

Tag definitions used across the platform

The questions endpoint supports incremental sync with updated_at as cursor. All other endpoints operate in full refresh, which fits configuration-like and aggregate tables that change little. Entity relationships are preserved at the destination: products as parent of opinions, overviews, questions, rates and survey summaries; sellers as parent of seller details and reviews.

How to authenticate

  • Token: your Trustvox API token, sent as a Bearer credential in the Authorization header of every request, alongside the Accept header that selects API version 1
  • Where to find it: log in to your Trustvox account at app.trustvox.com.br, go to the account/admin settings area, and under the API or integrations section generate or copy your API token
  • Store URL: the URL of your Trustvox store, used to identify which store's data to extract
  • Admin Email: the administrator email associated with your Trustvox account
  • Store ID: the numeric identifier of your store in Trustvox

Paste the credentials into the corresponding fields on the Erathos platform and click Save and close to complete the setup. The full process is documented at https://docs.erathos.com/connectors/apis/trustvox.

Why outsource ingestion to Erathos

The premise of the connector is direct: ingestion maintenance engineering should not be your data team's responsibility. Authentication, API versioning, pagination, nested payload flattening, parent-child orchestration, schema evolution, failure alerts and backfill are all the responsibility of whoever operates the ingestion platform. With the connector configured, the platform delivers:

End-to-end visibility into every run

Extraction time per endpoint, record counts per window, which windows were processed, where retries happened. When a metric changes on a dashboard and someone opens a ticket for the data team, you have the full trail to find the root cause.

Alerts configured out of the box

Run failures, per-endpoint volume drops and delayed windows are detected and routed through the alerting integrations your team already uses, such as Slack and email. You do not write that code.

Reprocessing as a supported operation

When you need to reprocess a window, for example to reload a period affected by a schema change or to backfill a store after changing your extraction scope, that is a platform operation, not an improvised sequence of DELETE + INSERT in the warehouse.

Correct pagination, credential management, schema evolution and backfill are the platform's responsibility. Your data team focuses on the model, not the plumbing.

Available pipelines

Get started

Create your Erathos account at https://app.erathos.com/signup?slug=blog&button=cta&utm_campaign=trustvox_release and connect Trustvox to your warehouse in minutes. With your Trustvox API token, store URL, admin email and store ID, your first data lands at the destination with zero pipeline code to write, maintain, or monitor.

Review and shopper feedback data generated every day shouldn't stay locked inside a SaaS, disconnected from the rest of your analytics model. Or worse: stuck in a homegrown pipeline that will keep costing your team's attention every month, forever.
