Slack holds the day-to-day record of how your company works: decisions, escalations, and handoffs across channels, threads, and DMs. Erathos is preparing native support for syncing Slack conversations, messages, thread replies, reactions, users, user groups, and file metadata into Azure Synapse over the Slack Web API, with the same table-level control applied to every Erathos pipeline.

Once available, workspace data will land in Synapse alongside the rest of your Microsoft analytics stack, ready for Power BI dashboards and Azure Data Factory workflows, with incremental synchronization on message and file streams and full observability of every run. Azure Synapse support for Slack is not yet available; this page will be updated when it ships.

Erathos syncs conversations, including public and private channels, group DMs, and DMs, along with messages, thread replies, reactions, bookmarks, pins, users and presence data, user groups and their members, file and file comment metadata, emoji, reminders, scheduled messages, and team data such as access and integration logs. The scopes you grant to your Slack bot token determine which endpoints and conversations are available.

### How often will Erathos synchronize Slack data to Azure Synapse?

Once the destination is available, you will be able to configure sync frequency at the table level, from every 5 minutes up to once per day. Message and file streams will use incremental synchronization with a cursor, so each run processes only records newer than the last sync, while other Slack tables run as full refresh.
